Staff Canoe Trip

Outdoor Adventures joined St. Cloud University's Outdoor Endeavors for a seven day staff training trip in the Sylvania Wilderness Area. The cooperative adventure provided staff with the chance to learn and demonstrate field and group skills. The course was sanctioned by the Wilderness Education Association, Leave No Trace, and the American Canoe Association. The trip was canoe based and required portaging between campsites. Returning from the trip, the staff are excited to use their skills leading trips in the fall.
